In 2013 Mooroopna Police Station was built to replace an outdated 50 year old station, no longer capable of meeting modern-day Victoria Police needs.

Delivered on budget and ahead of schedule, the new station includes offices, public consultation rooms, amenities and other specialised facilities.

The improvement in the station has seen a significant increase in the number of officers facilitated and resulted in a significant decrease in crime in the area compared to the year before.

Furthermore, the station physically holds a strong presence in the town, creating a greater sense of safety and surveillance.

Solar energy and rainwater harvesting are incorporated into the efficient design to minimise lifecycle costs of the station.

Overall, the clients and project team are thrilled with the police station.
