River City Christian College is undergoing a major redevelopment program, following a Master Plan developed by Brandrick Architects.

We provided Brandrick Architects with a very open brief for the residential architecture design of our new dwelling at Giggarre; Simply that it be very modern as well as sympathetic and advantageous of its appealing setting.

The three concept floor plans provided for our perusal were all worthy of consideration, however one in particular stood out. The design featured a curved spine hallway running through the centre of the building which opened up into a large, open-plan living area flooded with natural light. It was then a pleasure to work with the team at Brandrick Architects over the following months as they shaped the concept into a reality; a stunning example of modern, Australian architecture.

Recently we have completed building an office block in High Street Echuca.

Brandrick provided all the detailed drawings for Council and outside consultants. They organised the tender process, selection of the builder and then managed the building of the project.

We are exceptionally proud of the end result which is a modern building encompassing an historic section which all blends beautifully with the streetscape.

Furr Consulting formed in 2005 and provides Structural and Civil design consulting services. We service projects with construction values up to $4M including residential, commercial, institutional and industrial type projects. We have 5 Structural/Civil Engineers.

Furr Consulting has worked with Brandrick since 2006 and have developed a close working relationship with the bDirectors and key staff facilitating a high level of collaboration.

Over this period we have successfully completed documentation of more than 50 projects ranging in construction values up to 54M. This office has dealt with their office for the past 10 years in various roles both as Quantity Surveyors and as Project Managers.

As Quantity Surveyors we have dealt with this office with Projects at Kyabram ATSS, Echuca Central Kinder, Ogilvie Avenue Units, Helicopter Hanger Bendigo Airport, Echuca Moama Tertiary Education Facility, Elmore OPU Development and BRIT, Echuca campus (New Trade Centre).

As Project Managers we are currently working with their office on the BRIT Echuca Campus in our dual role. Their attendance and promptness to resolve issues or answer Builder’s questions has resulted in a project that is both financially on time and on budget and will produce a project that will enhance the Central Echuca District.

The current project at BRIT Echuca is worth $4.25M, whilst the other projects worked on in conjunction with their office have ranged anywhere from $300K up to $4.25M. Their office is reliable and prompt to attend matters their design work is excellent and they show plenty of ESD initiatives and local community input into their design ideas, as is evident with our current project. We believe their office has the ability to work on even larger projects given the opportunity. As such our office would have no issue in recommending their office to work on any Project over $2M and up to $10M.
