Gerard Brandrick
Director + Founder
Gerard established his own practice in 1989, where he was inundated with work as soon as he opened the doors, Echuca was booming, and with no other architects in town, Ged soon had as many clients as he could handle.
From these early days the single person practice has grown into a larger regional practice with 11 architects, graduates and draftspeople, undertaking works throughout Victoria and southern New South Wales.
Gerard is still very much hands on, impassioned about quality design and sustainability particularly in this energy conscious world.
Shannon Johns
Director
Shannon completed residential/commercial construction certificate (drafting) in 1992 before commencing employment at Brandrick Architects in 1994. His hard work and determination shone which led him to become a co-director in 2008.
Shannon is a very talented designer who is heavily involved in both the design and project management stages within the business.
Shannon is passionate about design and aims to deliver work that positively impacts the community, whilst providing a design that invokes a greater sense of aesthetics an functionality.
James Holt
Architect
James joined Brandrick Architects in early 2021 after moving to Echuca from Melbourne. His experience in the architecture industry spans ten years, three different firms and a wide variety of building scales and typologies.
Following completion of his undergraduate and postgraduate degrees at the University of Melbourne, James pursued further study and in 2019 became a registered architect.
James loves to find creative solutions to unique briefs and hopes to have a positive impact on architecture and communities in regional Victoria as he continues to enjoy the change of pace and embracing country life, welcoming smaller people-centric projects.
Wienda Permata
Architect
Wienda has been with Brandrick for over 8 years where she has shone as an extremely talented documenter, with her skills being appreciated by the entire team.
Since joining the Brandrick team, Wienda has contributed to all stages of design documenting including 3D works. These include realistic architectural renderings of our buildings and their interiors as well as videos, stills and interactive walkthroughs.
George Raditya
Architect
George is a qualified architect + documenter of all project types from residential through to commercial.
George has extensive experience in computer aided visualization including 3D renders, 3D animation and photo montage. Allowing the client to step inside, change colours + wall /floor finishes, turn on lights + even experience the space within differing seasons. George is able to make it a truly remarkable and individual experience for each client.
Rizal Ambatong
Graduate Architect
Rizal has been with Brandrick since 2020 upon completion of his Masters in Architecture degree at The University of Melbourne.
Previously he worked in IT for more than 10 years before fulfilling his childhood dream of becoming an architect. Since joining the Brandrick team, Rizal has contributed to all stages of design documenting broad range of projects including residential, commercial and public buildings among many others.
Sepehr Yasini
Graduate Architect
Sepehr boasts an impressive educational background, holding a bachelor's degree in design (architecture) and a master's degree in architecture from the esteemed Shahid Beheshti University of Tehran, one of Iran's top universities. Sepehr's talents have also been recognized on the global stage, earning him the prestigious 2A continental architectural award.
With over 12 years of professional experience in Iran, Sepehr has honed his skills in designing large scale projects spanning various functions, including residential, commercial, and official structures.
Indra Prananda
Graduate Architect
Indra joined the Brandrick family at the end of 2023, and since then, he has seamlessly integrated into our collaborative and innovative environment. His enthusiasm, creativity, and commitment to excellence have already left a positive mark on our projects.
Indra's professional journey spans over six years, during which he has immersed himself in the dynamic and ever-evolving realm of architecture and interior design. His diverse experiences have contributed to his well-rounded skill set and a keen eye for detail.
Sidney Hocking
Draftsperson
Sidney's commitment to creating sustainable buildings reflects her deep sense of responsibility towards the environment and the future. Sidney takes pride in their ability to craft designs that inspire and have a meaningful impact on people's lives.

Christian Ritchie
Draftsperson
With over 20 years of experience in the building industry, Christian's transition to building design and drafting has enriched our team with a wealth of expertise and knowledge.
Before joining us, Christian honed his skills and passion at Bendigo Tafe, where he immersed himself in the intricacies of building design and drafting. Through his extensive working knowledge, Christian brings a unique perspective to our team, allowing us to deliver exceptional designs that blend functionality, aesthetics, and innovation.
Christian's vast experience in the building industry serves as a solid foundation for his work as a design and drafting expert. His understanding of construction techniques, building codes, and industry standards ensures that our clients receive meticulously crafted designs that are both practical and compliant.
Natalie Murphy
Office Manager
